I'm going to stare at it some more to determine if the big triangle is on the same plane as the upper circles. It looks a little "deeper" to me, but it is one of those that is switching back and forth also...
Cathy Rhttp://www.catwithcats.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021283387517994326.post-64697429483045058292013-02-04T08:47:01.988-08:002013-02-04T08:47:01.988-08:00I really like the variety of fabrics and quilting ...I really like the variety of fabrics and quilting here. The rouched (?) ribbon is a great touch on the large triangle.

I think the triangle serves as some depth perception as well as drawing the eye across the piece into the unknown. Nice touch letting it escape out beneath the edge!

Another perspective I see it from is going from right to left, where the triangle seems like a beam of light coming from afar, and lighting up what I imagine is a ring around a planet or something.

I think using the partial circles like that to create depth is brilliant, it looks so very cool!

Pleasing color combination as well :)mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11556867473316439509noreply@blogger.com
